PSG VS ATLETICO MADRID POST MATCH REACTION : FIFA CWC

PARIS SAINT GERMAIN 4: 0ATLETICO MADRID  FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP GROUP STAGE Paris Saint Germain vs Atletico Madrid just ended with a scoreline of 4-0 in the favour of PSG in the first edition of the new format of the FIFA Club World Cup. It was quite a dominant display from the Champions League winners over Atletico. Fabian Ruiz, Senny Mayulu, Kang In Lee and Vitinha were the goalscorers of Paris Saint Germain. Lets talk about the game and the tournament now a little bit. So there has been a lot of negative talk coming into this tournament for several reasons, however the most important reason in my opinion is the health of players and the number of games they are playing, I know you already might have heard and read about this topic a lot of times previously, but still I wanted to make this point beacuse you can't have the players play these many games at the top level at that intensity, they are human beings after all, it is insane amount of pressure on the bodies of the play...

CRISTIANO RONALDO'S PORTUGAL DOES IT AGAIN: NATIONS LEAGUE FINAL REACTON

PORTUGAL 2 : 2 SPAIN   (5-3 AFTER PENALTIES) UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE FINAL The UEFA Nations League Final between Portugal and Spain ended with 2-2 but Portugal won the match on Penalties : 5-4. It was an exhilarating final in Munich, where Cristiano Ronaldo and standout performer Nuno Mendes were on the scoresheet for Portugal while Mikel Oyarzabal and Martin Zubimendi scored two goals for Spain. Finally, Joao Neves scored the winning penalty for Portugal to seal the deal, Spanish forward Alvaro Morata was the only one who missed as he saw Diogo Cost save his penalty. And there you go ladies and gentlemen, Cristiano Ronaldo has done it again, Portugal have done it again, second Nations League title for them, what a moment honestly. You could see after the match how much it meant to Ronaldo, so happy to see him lift that trophy, everytime Ronaldo wins something it just feels like a personal victory, he has inspired so many people, he is the reason I am into football as ...

Transfer Season Heats Up – Part 2: Man united, Spurs, Liverpool in transfer news

Since FIFA has given an "additional Transfer window" to clubs between 1st June to 10th June to register players before the Club World Cup, things in the Transfer Market are heating up. We discussed about certain players previously, but things have changed significantly. Some clubs are heavily accelerating while some clubs are yet to make moves. BRYAN MBEUMO TO MANCHESTER UNITED Manchester United have already signed Matheus Cunha and now they are going for Bryan Mbeumo, at the time of writing this the first bid of United has been rejected, but it is clear as of now that that Mbeumo wants Man United. Firstly this will be a great signing, Mbeumo had a fantastic season with Brentford, he scored 20 goals in the Premier League this season and was fourth in the top scorer list along with Chris Wood. He also had 7 assists. He generally plays on the right wing for Brentford under Thomas Frank, but under Amorim in the 3-4-2-1 formation he would probably be in the 10 position with Cun...

FRANCE VS SPAIN : POST MATCH REACTION

FRANCE 4 : 5 SPAIN UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE SEMI FINAL So the UEFA Nations League semi final just ended with Spain taking the win and defeating France with a scoreline of 5-4. Lamine Yamal scored a brace and had a great match, Nico Williams, Mikel Merino and Pedri were other players who were on the scoresheet for Spain. On the other hand Kyllian Mbappe, Rayan Cherki and Randal Kolo Muani scored goals for France, Daniel Vivian scored an own goal. That was a fantastic game , so entertaining. If I am being completely honest, I expected Spain to win, but never thought we would have such a wild game. I thought it will be a close game with probably 2-1 kind of a scoreline like we saw in the Euros, but oh boy that was a goal fest. After the first half ended I thought the way Spain are playing they will probably score one or two more and put the game to bed, that was what was happening, second half started, Yamal won a penalty(it had to be Rabiot there lol) and I was suprised he was taking it...

MOST EMOTIONAL MOMENTS FROM THIS SEASON

MOST EMOTIONAL MOMENTS THIS SEASON Just like that another season has come to an end(I know that Club world Cup is remaining). This season will always be remembered for years to come for so many stories that it brought itself with. From memorable debuts to fairytales and from historic victories to near misses and heartbreaks, this season truly had it all. 1) THE FAIRYTALES AND UNDERDOGS This season will forever be remembered for the underdog stories, so many clubs broke their trophy droughts this season. Spurs won trophy after 17 years, and more than Spurs it felt so good to see Heung Min Son win a trophy for Tottenham, his loyalty paid off finally. Crystal Palace won their first ever major trophy by winning the FA Cup and will participate in Europa League next season. Bologna Won a major trophy after 51 years, they beat AC Milan in the Coppa Italia final. Newcastle won a trophy after 51 years. They beat Liverpool in Carabao Cup final. Go Ahead Eagles won a trophy for the first ti...

DO PREMIER LEAGUE TEAMS WHO SPEND MORE DO BETTER?

(PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO NOT OWN OR CLAIM ANY OF THE DATA MENTIONED IN THIS ARTICLE/BLOG, THE TRANSFER NUMBERS HAVE BEEN OBTAINED FROM SITES LIKE TRANSFERMARKET AND OTHER NEWS SOURCES IN FULL ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR TERMS OF USE) INTRODUCTION Premier League is the biggest, most toughest and the richest league in the world, Premier League clubs spend more money in comparison to clubs from other leagues, but do they perform better and do the clubs which spend more in transfermarket rank higher in the premier league table than those who spend less, we will be comapring that today using 'NET SPEND' of Premier League clubs, which is  TOTAL MONEY EARNED - TOTAL MONEY SPENT First things First this is for this season only, also one more thing is that its not always about spending more but making the right investment  over a period of time, that's what makes good projects and good football clubs, also the Financial Fair Play rules right are very well in place and are quite strict wh...

The wait is over-PSG ARE CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE- post match REACTION AND REVIEW

PSG ARE FINALLY THE CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE PSG 1  -  INTER 0 So in an absolutely dominating fashion Paris Saint Germain(PSG) have defeated Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final with a scoreline of 5-0. PSG beat Inter Milan in one of the most dominating performances in UEFA Champions league history, with Desire Doue, Achraf Hakimi, khvicha kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu on the scoresheet(Desire Doue scored two goals.) I mean that's a flex in itself, winning a Champions League Final 5-0 is just crazy work. What a moment its is for PSG as a club, they tried evrerything to achieve this feat, they literally got Messi, Neymar and Mbappe but still could not do it, they came close on numerous occasions but could never win it but now they have finally done it. In my last article I talked about how previous champions League finals have been low scoring and we don't get to see many goals these days in UCL finals, but oh my god, never in my wildest dreams I thought PSG would pu...
