Next Big Superstars : Players who could get a move to a big club: Transfer gossip on Man Utd, Barca, Bayern Munich

THE NEXT BIG NAMES IN FOOTBALL

We have had some insane talents coming up this season especially and this summer will be huge as many big clubs will be making big signings.

Clubs like Manchester United, Arsenal and Barca will be in transfer news headlines and new young and exciting players like Viktor Gyokeres and Florian Wirtz will get a move to a big club. We may see big money signings this season and clubs breaking their banks.

We will not only look at the names which are being heavily discussed but also names that are not being discussed that much.

HUGO EKITIKE

The 22 year old Frenchman left Paris Saint- Germain to join German club Eintracht Frankfurt.

And he has lit the Bundesliga there. Ekitike has scored 22 goals and provided 12 assists in 48 games(across all competitions) this season for Frankfurt. He is in the top 10 of bundesliga for Big chances created(12). He also has 51 successful dribbles this season, which puts him among the top  this season and he is also among the top in the Bundesliga for most shots on target per 90.
Overall Hugo Ekitike is a top notch finisher.
Various sources have linked Ekitike to multiple English Clubs.

RAYAN CHERKI

Another young Frenchman on our list.
The 21 year old Lyon striker has put stellar performances in the French Ligue 1.
He has 12 goals and 19 assist in 42 matches that he has played across all competition.
He is a great dribbler of the ball and has great ball carrying abilities.
He is second in Ligue 1 in terms of chances created and first in terms of Big chances created.
He is top 10 in dribbles completed per 90.
Many big clubs are in his pursuit, sources are quoting a price of 30 - 40 million.

JONATHAN DAVID

Jonathan David is a proper goalscorer, the 25 year old Canadian has scored16 goals in ligue 1 and assisted 5. He has consistently been scoring goals and has proved he is a proper striker, and the fact that he is available as for free this summer is cherry on top of cake.
Reports suggest various Italian clubs want him.

MARC GUEHI

Marc Guehi has consistently been showing his high quality defensive skills since past few years for Crystal Palace and was even called up for English National Team.
Recent reports suggest that Chelsea really want to sign the player.

It is worth noting that a fee around 70 million from Spurs was rejected by Crystal Palace

VIKTOR GYOKERES

Of course he has to be in this list. He has been one of the best strikers in Europe this season and is in the race for Golden Shoe.
In 44 matches across all competitions Viktor Gyokeres has scored a whopping 49 goals and provided 8 assists.
Goal per 90 ratio is 1.25.
He can come in and solve goal scoring issues of any club. He is considered a top target by many premier League clubs.
So he is one of those players who is most likely going to get a big move this summer.
According to reports he was one of Manchester United Transfer targets.
He will be making headlines in the transfer news especially in premier league transfer news.

FLORIAN WIRTZ

Well, by the time this article is out Fabrizio Romano might already have tweeted "here we go" for Florian Wirtz To Liverpool.
Even though Wirtz has been regularly mentioned in Bayern Munich's transfer news, several reports suggest that he wants Liverpool as his next destination.
The stats of Florian Wirtz speak for themselves, he is one of the most promising young players in the world right now.
10 goals, 12 assist, 3.1 successful dribbles per 90(3rd in the league), 17 big chances created(second only to Olise), no doubt clubs are ready to break the bank for him.

It will be really interesting to see where he goes but for now
Florian Wirtz to Liverpool seems an ideal scenario.

GIOVANNI LEONI

Although Inter vs PSG is the focus of Inter fans, Inter Milan is eyeing for the transfer of young and talented, 18 year old Parma defender Giovanni Leoni.
He even managed to contain Serie A champions' star striker Romelu Lukaku.
Several other Italian clubs are monitoring him.

JAMIE GITTENS

The latest in Arsenal and Chelsea transfer news is English sensation Jamie Gittens playing for Borrusia Dortmund.
Gittens has the highest successful dribbles per 90 - 3.1, apart from that that he has 8 goals and 3 assists. Overall he is a menace on the wing.

NICO WILLIAMS

Well last year there were a lot of rumours about Nico Williams To Fc Barcelona but the player ultimately decided to stay at the club.
But this year it seems that Nico Williams is leaving his boyhood club. Some reports suggest that Nico williams is a transfer target for Arsenal and Real Madrid. There is absolutely no doubt about Nico's ability, he has a total of 10 goal contributions and has shown how good he is in the last Euros.

EBERECHI EZE

We have another Crystal Palace player in here. Eze has proved himself very well in the Premier League and won Crystal Palace's first major trophy. He is a great player and there is no doubt in that, which is why Bayern Munich are targeting him in this transfer window. Sources are quoting a price range of around 60-70 million
He has scored 8 and provided 8 this season for Crystal Palace.
He is also in top 10 for successful dribbles per 90.

So this was a list of 10 players who could get a move to a big club this season. Most of these players are attackers. But also I would like to mention that any stats and data used in this article have been taken from Fotmob. In my personal opinion Hugo Ekitike, Gyokeres and Wirtz will very suerly move to a big club, others i am not very sure as anything can happen in transfer market.

Why Defending the Champions League Title Is So Rare: A Look at the Past 20 Seasons

INTRODUCTION We all know that the UEFA Champions League is the greatest club competition of all time, and it is the hardest to win as well. We hv the Champions league final coming up in a few days: PSG VS INTER. These are relatively new teams(of course Inter is playing 2nd final in 3 years but still).  But I had a question hwo often does it happen that the winner retains the title and does that club perform on a similar level. Well we all know that Real Madrid have won three titles in a row in the seasons 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18. We are going to look at the last 20 Champions league winners and see how teams fared next season. In the last 20 Champions League campaigns, Real Madrid have been the most successful club winning it on 6 occasions and the ONLY team to defend the title in the last 20 UCL campaigns when they did a 3 peat as mentioned earlier. In fact they are the ONLY club in the Champions League era(when it was renamed to Champions league from European Cup) to e...
