Latest Transfer News discussion, Cunha Gyokeres etc,Man United Liverpool etc in transfer news

So the season has nearly ended and transfer rumours have started to flood the social media already. Some clubs have started making moves and some signings are already official like for example Real Madrid signed Dean Hujsen, Manchester United is making moves in the Transfer Market and so are other clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

So lets discuss some of these transfer rumours/news and signings-

CUNHA TO MANCHESTER UNITED

So its seems like Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Matheus Cunha's transfer to Manchester United.
I think this is a perfect deal for Man United, Ruben Amorim plays the same or you can say similar system in which Cunha used to play at Wolves. Just like how Cunha was a no.10 in the 3-4-2-1 formation at Wolves, it will most probably be the same for him at United.
Cunha is a fantastic player and is in a red hot form, he will definitely add some firepower in that attack. So this will be a great signing if everything goes well.

VIKTOR GYOKERES TO ARSENAL

So according to several reports Arsenal want to sign Swedish star striker Viktor Gyokeres. There is no doubt that Mikel Arteta and Arsenal will be under massive pressure to deliver a major trophy next season, there has been so much talk about Arsenal not having a striker and everything about their goalscoring issues. Gyokeres is that type of player who would hit the ground running for them from day 1, but with that being said, if Arsenal do sign him, I will not be surprised if he takes some time to adjust and if he has some tough few weeks at the start, because there is a big difference in Liga Portugal and Premier League, but yes it will indeed be a world class signing, the numbers of Viktor Gyokeres speak for themselves.

TIJJANI REIJNDERS TO MANCHESTER CITY

So Reijnders is Gundogan kind of player and is nailing it in the Serie A, he even won the midfielder of the year award there. This will be a very important signing for Manchester City, especially right now when they are kind of in a rebuild phase.
I was first of the opinion that since Kevin De Bruyne is leaving, City will go all in for Florian Wirtz, but he seems to be on his way to Liverpool, but i thing Tijjani Reijnders right now should be must - sign for Man City.

RAYAN CHERKI TO MANCHESTER CITY

Well this news has been floating around since past few days and accelerated in the past few hours, honestly it does make sense because Florian Wirtz is going to Liverpool, Cherki according to several reports will be available for cheaper than you would imagine.
Now I read some people saying that Pep will take out the creativity out of him, make him a system player etc, well I know why they are saying this but I don't think so but I am very curious about how Pep integrates him in his system, if they end up signing him.

HUGO EKITIKE TO LIVERPOOL/CHELSEA

So just a few hours ago Sky Sports reported that Liverpool are interested in Ekitike as well, and oh boy Liverpool really trying to make a galacticos squad, but yeah those reports do mention that they are prioritizing the Wirtz deal. My first thoughts on this was since they are signing Wirtz, Kerkez, Frimpong and now this then definitely there will be 3 or so players leaving I mean for PSR purposes they will have to sell players.

On the other hand Ekitike to Chelsea rumours have been floating for quite some time now, and I thought they will wrap this up soon. Chelsea board would 100% want to make this deal happen as soon as possible because many clubs I think would be monitoring Ekitike's situation, as he is so good.

MARCUS RASHFORD TO FC BARCELONA

I mean it was pretty much expected that Rashford would leave Man United after returning from loan.
Since the past few days I have been reading a lot about this move and reports even suggest that Barcelona's sporting director, Deco met Rashford's agents.
He is still 26 years old and definitely has years left in him, with right work ethic, mentality and coaching(which seemed to be an issue at united) he can be a fantastic player. At Barcelona, there is very little chance that he will be starting, so he will be an excellent player as a backup or as someone to come off the bench. So in that sense I don't see anything bad in this deal.

LAMINE YAMAL EXTENDS WITH BARCELONA

I think there is nothing surprising in this move we all saw this coming and honestly Barca is the perfect place for Yamal in teh long run and can become their poster boy, he is definitely one of the best players in the world right now.
According to some reports his salary will be around the region of 15 million and with bonuses it will be 20 million.
He is only 17 right now and has signed a deal till 2031, by then he will still be only 23, how crazy is that.
If he can perform and keep producing seasons like this, Barcelona surely will have to increase his alary very soon.

ERIK  TEN HAG TO BAYER LEVERKUSEN

So this has already been confirmed and I am genuinely curious to see what he does at Leverkusen, obviously he did not have a great run at United but still managed to win 2 trophies and had an excellent run at Ajax.
In my opinion this would turn out to be a good appointment, Ten Hag will get to build the squad from scratch, there will be a complete re build also there will be much less pressure as compared to Manchester United. What Xabi Alonso managed to do was absolutely incredible, and  I don't think people should expect the same from Ten Hag, he will need to time as it will be a proper re build, staying in top 3 or top 4 and constantly qualifying for Champions League should be the goal for now.

Why Defending the Champions League Title Is So Rare: A Look at the Past 20 Seasons

INTRODUCTION We all know that the UEFA Champions League is the greatest club competition of all time, and it is the hardest to win as well. We hv the Champions league final coming up in a few days: PSG VS INTER. These are relatively new teams(of course Inter is playing 2nd final in 3 years but still).  But I had a question hwo often does it happen that the winner retains the title and does that club perform on a similar level. Well we all know that Real Madrid have won three titles in a row in the seasons 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18. We are going to look at the last 20 Champions league winners and see how teams fared next season. In the last 20 Champions League campaigns, Real Madrid have been the most successful club winning it on 6 occasions and the ONLY team to defend the title in the last 20 UCL campaigns when they did a 3 peat as mentioned earlier. In fact they are the ONLY club in the Champions League era(when it was renamed to Champions league from European Cup) to e...

INTRODUCTION- In a campaign packed with breathtaking goals, record-breaking statistics, and super-stardom controversy, it's easy to forget the unsung heroes—the players who don't grab the headlines but are indispensable every time they put on their boots. While the limelight remains glued to the typical superstars, there's a whole cast of footballers who've been putting in performances that deserve great accolades, yet go under the radar. These are the guys who don't always go viral on social media but without whom their team would be half as good. They might not chalk up crazy goal counts, but they add balance, brains, and grit to every game. Be it a full-back shutting down world-class wingers week in and week out, a midfielder who quietly dominates the match, or a striker who labors tirelessly off the ball—these underappreciated players are the pillars ...
